“Shooting Pots” is a documentary on small scale commercial lobster/crab fishing off the North Cornwall coast. Pot fisherman spend up-to twelve hours a day, almost everyday at sea working in occasionally dangerous and rough conditions in a small boat of around 20ft in length. The work is tough, hauling many “Tiers” (a number of pots in a line that rest on the sea bed) of pots a trip via a winch on-board. The environment is beautiful, however danger, unlike rescue, is never far away. Short listed for the Cornwall Film Festival in 2012.
